Welcome to the iMoneyCoach Resource Center

Money is the smallest part of your finances. Your life is the biggest. Think about it - everything you do throughout your day affects and is affected by your finances. Your dreams and goals affect and are affected by your finances. So to be successful in your finances, you need to work towards success in each of the different areas of your life.
With this knowledge, you can work on creating a balanced life that will maximize your financial potential. If one area of your life is unfulfilled, it will affect all the other areas and keep you from reaching your dreams. We have compiled a variety of resources for you in each of the 5 life segments, and you can access those resources using the menu to the right.
So if you are struggling with a relationship, you can visit the Relationships section to see videos, blogs, links, and book recommendations. If you feel you could be healthier, visit the Personal section for tips and suggestions on how to live a healthier life.
Start with an area where you know you might have some issues. Then be sure to browse through the other areas too. You may come across some advice to make those parts of your life work even better. The more you work at finding and maintaining balance in your life, the more fulfilling your life will be and the more successful you will be with your finances.
A little more...
To go a little more in depth, let us briefly explain why balance is so important.... You see, using a pyramid similar to Maslow's heirarchy, we have four levels that we can be at in our lives (and they can be different for each of the 5 Life Segments). You could be at a Survival level, barely getting by or at Stability, where you are doing OK but could be doing better. Then there is Success, and at the top is Significance, where you are teaching or sharing with others so that they can be successful in their lives too.

We move up the pyramid first by learning and changing our habits. Then we move up some more by action and through our attitudes. Finally, to reach Significance, we adjust our priorities and start teaching others.
So in each area of your life it is important to consider which level you are at and try to balance them. Picture trying to cross a canyon, we'll call it the Canyon of Life. To get from one side to the other, you need the various levels to be fairly close. If your Spiritual life is at Survival level and your Personal life is at Significance, you will hit a wall and not be able to move forward. So while it's great to reach Significance in an area, you have to be sure you are balancing all your areas. Let's walk through this graphically:
This first graphic represents someone who has some unlevel areas of life and will not be able to make it across the Canyon of Life. They may be very successful in one area, but that can create roadblocks when the other areas of life are at Survival or Stability levels:

This person has a much easier time because they are at least Stable in all of their areas. From here they can work on moving up in each level until they reach Significance:
